Twitter Friends: Mars Hill Edition
Twitter has become a great tool for me to get to know people at Mars Hill who I probably would have never met had it not been for Twitter. Some of these people I have actually never met in real life but would consider them a friend and feel like we know each other pretty well. I think that is what differentiates Twitter from many other social networks. You can’t just hide behind stupid apps or your music tastes, it really is about who you are and forming relationships with other people (future blog post about this). Some of these people I see regularly, some of them I have never met. This is not the ultimate Mars Hill Twitter list (though I do have one), but just a few friends I’d like to highlight.
- @aadom: assistant to @pastorzack, Pastor of Technology.
- @pastormark: preaching pastor
- @giessen: works at MH, job title is dynamic (always changing), know him since we were little tykes
- @perston: works in the IT department, I met him when we were both volunteerin at the Paradox
- @jsorge: distributing our stuff on the webs
- @usefularts: making us look good
- @thejode: rockin’ it in Shoreline with the Northern Conspiracy
- @jfriend: 6 kids, likes ginger snaps

Mars Hill sounds like quite the place (not just because of the number of Twitterers).. If I ever decide to visit Seattle, I’ll have to check you guys out!
