1 Pregnant Wife and 1 iPhone
After trying to get pregnant for so many months (over 2 years actually), we were willing to do pretty much anything that didn’t cost a few grand on our part. So my wife and I made a deal: if she gets pregnant, I get an iPhone. That was all the motivation I needed and soon after we ended up getting pregnant. Not really but I like to think so. We did make the deal but that’s not what I would attribute to getting pregnant. What really matters is that I now have my wife’s blessing to purchase an iPhone. I’m waiting until the next version comes out, likely this summer. Software updates will be great and all the new apps as a result of the new SDK will be very cool. What I’m really hoping for is a significant hardware upgrade. Here is a list of a few things I would like to see:
- GPS
- Larger storage (probably 32 gb)
- Video (this may be a software issue). Qik enabled would be nice.
- 3G
I am sure that you, my loyal readers, will know very soon after I end up getting the phone. Expect some giddy school girl like behavior.

I may have to strike a similar deal for the xbox 360 my wife won’t let me get. We’ll see about that 
I’m holding my breath for the June date too. I’ve got a 1st gen iPhone but if the June refresh has some of the things you mention above, I’ll unload mine on eBay and grab one too. Video and 32GB would be easy, GPS and 3G we’ll cross our fingers.
