Married Life, Day 11

Jenae and I have now been back form our honeymoon and are getting settled in our new place. Jenae has done a nice job making it into our home. I will provide some photos later. This morning I had a pleasant ride on my way to school thanks to everyone’s favorite radio station, KEXP. The first song I heard was Rogue Wave covering U2’s “Seconds.” It was very good, well as good as a cover can be. Then after that they played “All The Things That I’ve Done” by The Killers. Another fantastic song by a fantastic band. It is nice to be able to listen to the radio and know you’re going to hear good tunes without having to wade through 15 minutes of commercials.

While Jenae and I were in Victoria, BC I got a parking ticket. It was for parking the wrong way on a residential street. I think we may have this law as well but nobody in Seattle obeys it and I park the wrong way so often I don’t even think about it. So I owe the City of Victoria $15 if I pay within 2 weeks. So I guess that’s about $13 US. If it was 5 years ago it would only be about $11 US.

This quarter I am taking a math class called Differential Equations and it will be quite tough for me. A lot of it is built on what I learned in my first 2 quarters of Calculus but since I took my first 2 quarters of Calculus in 2001 I am a wee bit rusty. Fortunately this is probably the last math class I have to take. I use math in every other class but math classes aren’t very fun because it’s mostly theory type stuff and not the applications which is much more fun.

Off to class I go.
