I am back from my hiatus. I needed a few days away from the blogosphere to focus my attention elsewhere. The last week I’ve spent a lot of time with my family. Many people came from out of time for my Grandma’s memorial service. It was really good to see some people I haven’t seen in quite a while and to spend time with them. Friday afternoon I went over to my Grandpa’s house with a couple of my uncles, my Dad and my cousin Josh and we played some music.

Tickets for U2 in Seattle went on sale this last week. The only ones I was able to buy were 2 pairs of $160 tickets. Needless to say, I can’t really afford these. I’m selling one pair and we’ll see about the second. I may have to sell that pair as well.

U2 just came out with the video for “Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own.” I just watched it on their web site and I think it’s really good. It’s simple and personal.

There is now 5 weeks and 4 days until Jenae and I are getting married. It is fast approaching. Weddings are great and everything but I will be glad when it is all over and we can get on with our life together. It will be an enjoyable event, to say the least. I look forward to it.

I’ve still got this cold that has been hanging around for a week and a half and this week won’t give me much opportunity to rest. I’ve got school everyday, 2 shows at the Paradox, work and some other things to take care of.
