([W + (D-d)] x TQ)/(M x NA)

According to a U.K. psychologist, today was the “most depressing day of the year“.

He used this equation to calculate the results:

The model is: ([W + (D-d)] x TQ)/(M x NA)

The equation is broken down into seven variables: (W) weather, (D) debt, (d) monthly salary, (T) time since Christmas, (Q) time since failed quit attempt, (M) low motivational levels and (NA) the need to take action.

It was just a normal Monday for me, which is my least favorite day of the week. This is because I am at school basically all day, thanks to a physics lab all afternoon. Thank you, physics lab. Tomorrow I have a test in Linear Algebra, it should be fun. I’ve never had to write so many words in a math class before.

In 10.5 hours from now I should have purchased my tickets to the U2 concert. Yes.

Tonight Jenae and I watched The Station Agent. I thought it was a pretty good movie. The main theme, or at least what I took from it, was that community is important. We were made for community. People are happier in community. But community makes us vulnerable. Where there is potential for the most joy, there seems to be potential for the most pain and hurt. Yeah, good movie.

As soon as I finish my Widmer Brother Snow Plow, I will retire.

G’nite.
